DESCRIPTION – Hide & Freeze VR
Hide & Freeze VR is a multiplayer VR game, based on the well-known children’s game hide & seek. The original gameplay is mixed with twists to make it more fun for VR, like being able to pass through walls. The open spatial audio channels allows you to hear where players are located, and to communicate what is happening. This creates a competitive and co-operative social game. The game can incorporate up to 6 players. It makes use of full-body avatars, allowing you to choose your favorite avatar. Players take turns in playing hider or seeker. The seeker needs to freeze all the hiders to win; the hiders need to all reach the home base safely to win. If you get frozen you are still part of the game as you can still observe and call out to other hiders to unfreeze you.
We currently have three levels: a tutorial garden, an urban house, and a toy room. In the toy room, the hiders become toy-sized and the seeker needs to find them between the toys.
The game is targeting VR Arcades or portals with a subscription model.
The experience works on different PC based VR devices: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

ImproVive, based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. ImproVive creates VR experiences for entertainment, education and business.
Starting 2017 ImproVive has been developing and investigating the power of storytelling in VR and the use of multiplayer in VR. VR is a powerful tool in immersing people in stories and creating empathy. VR is a unique media which allows users to experience a sense of physical space and interaction that feels much more natural, not just through the Headset, but especially by enabling interaction using your arm and hand movement. VR can help create meaningful experiences between people where the quality of interaction goes beyond picking up a gun and shooting someone or something.
A Stickman Reality was the first VR game released by ImproVive. Currently, ImproVive is working on more VR entertainment games and business applications for VR in training, healthcare and planning tools.
