Find out what ImproVive's projects deliver.

Experience the library

The Amersfoort library wants to be more than a storage space for books. It wants to be a place children and adults enjoy visiting. A place where there are lots of things to 'experience'. ImproVive developed a multi-media storyteller with animated characters - the avatars - talking about a part of the library's collection. This way, the visitor 'experiences' the collection in a relaxing and adventurous way. There is a separate version for kids and for adults, addressing different topics with a specific storyteller to match.

Kids sport online

Kids Sports News is a site that wants to introduce and promote Olympic sports amongst children worldwide. ImproVive developed games for the site in which children can experience different sports. The games include the essential characteristics of each sport. For example, only the online swimmer with the right stroke can win. Apart from the sports themselves, children can also experience the atmosphere surrounding the competitions. The competition element, the presence of spectators and happily sporting animations ensure that the visitor him- or herself can experience how much fun sports are. Text has been avoided for instructions as much as possible, so that children of all languages can easily play the games.

Share your favorite program

By assignment of the Dutch Public Broadcasting companies ImproVive is developing a new broadcasting player with which users of, for example, weblogs or communities can place episodes of programs on their own site. The broadcasting player makes it possible to not only discuss programs, but to actually share them with each other. Moreover, the user can profile himself by adding his own comments to certain fragments. That way the broadcasting player enables users to have a conversation about a program. It is an opportunity for the public broadcasting companies to promote their programs to a much broader audience.

'Game in the City'

ImproVive has been using games for communication, marketing, sales and training purposes for a long time. As a result, we have not only gained a great deal of knowledge and experience, but also built up an extensive network in the branch. That is why, this year, we have the honor of taking care of programming and project management of Game in the City. Game in the City is a new event for the creative industry in and around Amersfoort and for the gaming industry in the Netherlands in general. At the heart of the event are the design and use of games in entertainment, education, healthcare and media. During the event the first Dutch Games Awards will be awarded. Amersfoort Creatieve Stad is the initiator of the event.
